Ruf project in process...
Jay it is not Steve,
It is LAT from this board who is having complete rebuild of his CTR2 (Engine, transmission,
suspension). He can tell you more but we have decided to go "test it out" when it is done.
He had mentioned this somewhere else on this board. I have seen lots of pictures in progress
and when Ruf said they would rebuild it, they meant it. Transmission and engine were
COMPLETELY dissasembled---cool project!!!
Then I want to go hunt down TB993TT

I remember that guy selling the turbos S tt and the plane too! that turbo S was not this color purple tho< this thing is like Barney purple, BLAH. I like my polar silver. this car was for sale at Luxury Motors in Downers Grove a couple months ago. I can get details if anyone wants to know

My bad. I guess that at TT prices I am a touch cautious. eBay also has me lukewarm for big ticket items.
So cancel my words of warning, it seems to be a false alert unless the seller got them with the car from the former owner who raced it in another region. Not entirely likely as it does look indeed pretty clean and fresh.
