A friend of mine here had one in the same color but, with turbo S style, front spoiler, rear wing and side intakes. Definitely not an easy color to fall in love with.

a natural for one of the MN Vikings. When I was buying my 914 back in 73, Ed Marinaro, then of the Vikings, was in the dealer ordering his second purple 911 to replace the one that was stolen from in front of one of the NYC dept. stores when he ran in to pick something up.

could be a bargain, if you are color-blind at least.
I have seen some unbelievable color combinations most of them turbo S models.
Poison green interior with wood inside and so on.

It must be me, but that color seems to show off the curves of the 993 Turbo better than any other I've seen, at least in photos. Have never seen that color in the flesh however.
He does indicate that he's open to offers. Someone might be able to get it at a "steal" price.

I like it. I had a 996 cab in Vesuvio. It is sort of purple. I got more compliments on that car! The Amaranth is a little more purple but acceptable. I've seen another car that color not too long ago. It was being sold by a guy selling the Amaranth 993TT and a Black 993TT. Seems like one of them might have been a Turbo S. He was also selling a plane too. Sort of an odd thing to remember. Anyway, I like the color.
