Corto,

Can you post a picture of your car with the Ruf rear spoiler?

I'm about a year from selling my big reds (need big yellows!). What are they worth? (Nice paint condition).

Hello Steve. When I bought the spoiler on ebay a few years ago the description said was a RUF spoiler, but since I'm not familiar with RUF parts I can't proove if it's original, the only thing is looks great for my taste. I would like to post some pics, but don't know how. Big yellows? Check on Ebay Germany, I saw a complete front kit a coulple of days ago, not sure if still for sale.

Acropra,

Well, in my weakened condition, I remarked on this forum that the guards red calipers didn't look right on an arena red car. Someone else pointed out that the big reds look a bit small behind the 19" Ruf wheels. So I started adding up the cost os paint, the cost for new pads and rotors, and what I might be able to sell the big reds for, as opposed to just buying a set of yellow Stoptechs that are bigger and no heavier than the reds. I think its doable, but it'll take me a while to be ready for that project. Or I can buy the big yellow Ruf brakes ($7k, I think), if I were a bit more of a lunatic.

I would recommend that you go the expensive way and contact FVD, Cargraphic or the likes. I have personally bought Getty Design, and while I was veryhappy about them, I have had to redo a LOT of work on the flares to make the m fit 100%. They were not the same size, and their curve was not similar one side to the other. The amount of work involved was tremendous. My intercooler broke the rear GT2 wing, I thought it was a problem with the I/C being too large, but after measurements, turned out to be poor wing fit.

The Cargraphic kits have amazing finish.

Thank's Jean. I imagine some aftermarkets are very poor fitment. The GT" is based on the narrow body, It's necesary cut the fenders for fitment? If so, Does the kit comes with instructions and measurements for installation? Another good source for kit?

Thanks for your words. I have had to redo it practically after its trip to Germany as it was damaged in the container. There are some instructions that you have to ask for, they are not that good.
You do need to cut the fenders , there is no other choice unfortunately.

I would buy fiberglass fenders fron tand rear and have those cut instead of the stock ones. It is more expensive for sure, but not much more work Iwould guess and you can keep the stock fenders.

Saludos.

The cargraphic kit is a Sh*t fit too, took 6 Months to perfect the fit and paint, it now looks 'factory' finish and has a cool carbon weave showing under the paint . Personally, I would warn most people off this conversion, cutting the front and rear wings/fenders is irreversable and if you get it wrong you have some BIG problems and $$$$ to rectify. My kit came with instructions that were as good as a chocolate fireguard. You need to be VERY sure that you want to do this.

Here's a pic of my baby whilst been driven to the limit on the Cannonball8000 and Nurburgring. You can see the carbon weave in the front spat.

Dunno without looking, they are 9x18 at the front (or possibly 9.5x18) and 11x18 at the rear if I remember correctly. The wheels are genuine porsche 993GT2 Mag options which were originally anodised gold, so I'm 100% sure they have the offsets of the std 993GT2, if you can find any literature with these diamentions.
