What does this warning light mean????
I drove my car for about 25 miles last night with a red dash light on (it was an emergency and I had no choice ) Unfortunately I don't have my handbook with me so I don't know what it is. When I arrived, I turned the car off and then back on to see if it was still there but it had gone.
It is a circle with 2 little arrows inside pointing in, and there are brackets either side of the circle.
I seem to remember it's something to do with hydraulic pressure, or brake pressure??? It always used to come on for about 10 secs after engine start and then go, but last night stayed on. The car hasn't been started for about 3 weeks and the battery was low which may be a contributing factor(?)
Can someone shed some light?
Thanks.

I believe there are two symbols that look similar.
On my car, when I turn it on, I too get the light, but it is clutch related.
The clutch is very heavy before starting and the the pressure builds up and the light goes away. Read in the manual not to drive until light goes out.
Then the other one, I believe was either brake pressure or break pad weardown.
Don't have the manual handy as it's in my car and I'm not home, otherwise I would confirm with out a doubt.

Thanks.
It stayed on for over 20 mins but maybe if the light remains on for more than a few minutes it stays on even if brake pressure is ok??? That would explain why when I turned if off and then on, the light didn't come back on.
