What would be interesting is to know how many there are left undamaged. My guesstimate 10% are gone and another 10% have some bad history by now.

"Number Made: 5978 units"

That number would classify our 993tt cars as "rare" (They've been making almost 4,000 996tt's per year, every year since 2001).

If a basic assumption is 10% of the 993tt's are totalled, 10% have bad title, and maybe 1/2 shipped to the U.S., that would leave less than 2,400 collectible cars available here.

Don't sell it!

Mark,

I see now that the mods are a never ending story. I'm always two part orders ahead of every install.

NB Porsche put in the carbon fiber dash and CF 3 spoke steering wheel this week. It goes to Vision Motorsports Tuesday for the suspension install. Going by Andial today to pick up a strut tower brace, aux oil cooler, and other misc. December's project is Kevin's ECU, cats, and hybrids.

I'm registered for my 1st trip back to the track!!! I'm doing Speed Ventures Dec 9, at Willow! I need to go by the Bell Store today to pick up a new helmet, suit, gloves, and shoes.

My wife's famous last words; "Now this one is going to be an investment car right honey?...No holes drilled, roll cages, or those uncomfortable fat red seat belts?"...LOL

Paul,

Can you post some pics of your car .. and 'wheel shots' please :-)!

I have been waiting to see a stock body with your wheels... I have 996TT wheels on my car and had speedlines on my 930TT... Thanks!
