Comp should be in the 140 range for each cylinder
LeakDown should not be >5% for each cylinder

Ryo,

Also look for uniformity in the numbers. 6 cylinders at 3-4% across the board is better than 3 at 1% and 3 at 5%.

And you are basing this on what info??????

Dealer said those numbers are completely acceptable and healthy.

Forgot to add to my post that the numbers were between 132-137 and the dealer said that was healthy.

I was told 140 + or - 10 (with 140 being the mean) for compression.

I am also considering this car and when I used to have my Turbo I remember the numbers were around 6 percent and most people said they wanted 5 percent. I am in the market for a 993 Turbo as well as many others on this board. I have wanted Speed Yellow but it is looking harder and harder to fine so I was going to settle for my old color Polar Silver. Lets hear some more input on those numbers as a few of us on the forums are interested in this car.

Corey
