Default My TT has left the room

On the outside chance you don't read the 993 board. My TT is gone.
I made a deal with Steve at http://www.sportauto.cc and took delivery on my Gallardo a few days ago.
First impression on the G...it's one helluva car!

congratulations - since you stiill have the 993 cab in the stable, we'll forgive you What color?

On the more practical side, how are you going to deal with servicing it? I assume there isn't a dealer in Madison - you have to go to Chicago for service?

If you're ever up in the Twin Cites, I'd love to take a look at it and perhaps get a quick ride.

It's in my will that my 993 cab goes to my next of kin.

FoxValley in Chicago is the closest dealer. So far I've heard nothing but good things about them. They will actually come and pickup and service the Gallardo for around the cost of a normal service on the TT!

After my first few days with the Lambo,I am more than impressed with the car.The gated shifter is starting to feel *normal* and the car just wants to go.Its only got about 400 miles on it now,so I am being careful about breaking it in.But a short burst to the 8,k redline is a real experience.

I've enjoyed getting together with the Chicago area Rennlisters over the years and maybe it's time the Minnesota/Wisconsin gang get something scheduled.
The Dells might be a fun place to meet! I bet if we ask nice, some of the Illinois group might be encouraged to head north for some of the best driving roads in the midwest! The Wollersheim Winery is right there in the Dells area and it's worth a trip just for that.

The "GUY-ARDO" is stunning, and I can garuntee a strong contingent from the
Twin Cities to the Dells. There is a stunning windy country road from the Dells
down to the "House on the Rock". Let's do it!

I am sitting here in Carol Stream (just outside Chicago) on a business trip and I swear I saw a Lambo dealership between a steak house and a lumber yard???
