Marty,

Your clues scream :"996 GT2". I'll be waiting with baited breath for news.

Great going, Marty. You deserved it. I'm glad you pursued your prospect instead of the pushy guy from Alabama (!), who is by the way still hotly in the hunt for a 993tt OR a C4S.

As an aside, found a super low mileage C4 (not "S") that I'm half considering putting the "S" front, skirts, and rear from Gert. Let the comments begin!

Congrats again, Marty,
Adams

CP, btw does CP stand for chief procurement officer??
My top pick would be a GT2 but I do not have the ability to talk my family into that.
Adam, nice talking to you, and my advice (opinion after owning 3 turbo 911's, and
3 non turbo 911's is...always go TURBO!. Be patient and find the turbo you want.
I am requiring the new owner (who will get "my car" next week) to join Rennlist.
Lastly, Jean is right I have been spending too much time on water-cooled boards.
More to come next week.

Marty,

Heheh.. CP is for Consummate Porschephile. That's everyone on this Board.

Actually GT2 prices are very reasonable these days. This is the line I always use: Honey, if I get that.....(fill in the blank), it is the top of the line, I won't need to up-grade anymore.

Works every time......NOT.
