Default Reminder: replace your remote battery!

...or learn the hard way Actually, I consider myself fortunate because the remote battery gave up at the gas station which happened to be next door to a drug store. The gas station attendent helped push the car over to the side while I went to find a battery at 11pm. The battery is A23, 12V. They run about $5 each for the name brands. Pick one up and replace yours before you get stuck somewhere like I did!

how often do you replace your remote battery on a pm basis? I was thinking of yearly but is that often enough?

I replaced mine last year, but I guess I use it a lot??? Could also be because the car sat for so long, maybe that does something to the remote battery if it's not used?

I just keep a spare in the glove box. I'm a bit embarassed to admit mine is 5 years old.
