To the folks who were intersted in Waldo, I had mentioned an oil leak from the valve cover gaskets when he was allowed to sit more than 4 or 5 days. My plan was to fix the oil leak when I did some more serious upgrades, such as turbos. The stock turbos are still in great shape, and now that Waldo is going to be sold, my plan is to invest the $1000, and have the engine resealed.

If someone is interested in Waldo and is thinking about a pair of Kevin's turbos, I'd hold off fixing the oil leak, and knock the $1000 off the price of the car. The work is scheduled to start on Friday, 7/1.

Cool, I should be getting my car out of the shop in a week or 2 and it's been in for about 2 mo's now so I've been going thru withdrawal bigtime and it will be like getting a brand new car so my anticipation level is probabeley as high as yours is right now. Doug

Steve, the total idiot, couldn't turn down what looked like an outstanding deal on a 99,000 mile, arena red/grey 993TT (sound familiar?) that had the complete Ruf Turbo R conversion done 12,000 miles ago. I bought the car sight unseen (but with lots of help from a local Rennlister) from Alabama. It will be on a truck on Friday. Poor Waldo. I love Waldo. I never, ever thought I'd sell him. He must go to a Rennlister.
