Default Testrun on an airstrip, with performance measured

Hi all,

Did a testrun recently on an airstrip with a G-Tech Pro. Figured I'd post the results. Unfortunately, the weatherconditions was a bit bad, resulting in spinning tires in both 1:st, 2:nd and 3:rd gear. The test was done with one extra person in the car.

The car is completly stock (450hp version) with muffler-bypasses.

Movie is available at: http://members.rennlist.com/rassel/993tt.mpg

Also a wicked Corvette C5 with supercharger, what a sound!!

I'll try to repeat the test on a dry day and with a FIA-scale to get exact numbers.

We also did some autocross, and I managed to get over the finishline sideways!

Also some neat cars at the event....

Cheers.

Thanks for sharing, great info, it sounds like you had a lot of fun. A Qmile at 188 kms/hr is not bad at all. Nice charts too!

LOL, I'm not sure what numbers you get and I'm not sure if I'd like to know. I bet you'd be able to run Qmile, park the car and wave at me before I'm over the finish line..

Though you can see the slippery ground on the HP/Torque-curve when it's dancing around between 5-6k..

rassel, what g-tech model did u use?

is a g-tech pro (old base model) enough to get some times?
can i also get the 0-100 km/h times or is it only for 0-60 mph.

there are 2 g-tech pro units on ebay for ~50 Euros. (new) i buy one if it is ok to use.

what do you think?

As far as I know, the G-Tech Pro RR is the only one that can be connected to a PC.
