With my limited knowledge of the options I will only be interested in the RUF cooler--one other positive point is that it mounts next to fan for A/C unit which can provide some cooling potential if in stop & go traffic. I do remember a post a few years ago that points to slight potential ill effect on A/C effectiveness. I'll search later to confirm. Also, I already have a Turbo S cooler installed on my car (if anyone is interested in buying??).

I've heard from others that it didn't interfere with the A/C much at all?

I wasn't aware that Cargraphic cooler greatly deteriorated A/C. Please inform us of conditions, ambient temperature, stop&go traffic??

If thats the case, then I'd kindly suggest that your A/C system get thoroughly checked. That left-side cooler doesn't affect a properly charged and functioning A/C system that much,.....

Hi Everyone,
I was unable to put somthing together last week as the office has been completely hectic!! Unfortunatly I am going on vacation tomorrow through thurs. so I would be unable to post a group buy on our kits untill Friday. If there is a way for you guys to wait untill then I will do it for sure then, but if not I completely understand!!

Update from RUF Dallas...I spoke to Hans yesterday and things are not looking too good to get pricing anywhere near what the last group buy rec'd. According to Hans it's due to price increases from the supplier. His best price is 1199 vs 1299 normally. So that's only $100 off, less than 10%. He has 1 in stock now and 6 more that can be had within a couple weeks for a total of 7. I am going to call Wiessach on Thursday and discuss this with them as well. I'll update here when I know more.

Thanks for following up with RUF. I was hoping for more of a discount...realizing that the exchange rate has deteriorated, does any know how it has changed since the last group buy?

I did a search awhile back just seeking info and I think they got them around 8 to 900. Al lot more buyers too if I remember.

I was just reading about Andial's 3.8 conversion that is for sale. 571 HP and they used the turbo S cooler. Maybe the Ruf is overkill and that cooler FVD has would be an economical substitute.

The Andial car has their modified intercooler in addition to the s cooler to keep temps down. Obviously it works for them but honestly, I don't think the price delta between the S cooler and the RUF is that great?
