Is there a source for high octane (over 91) fuel in the Bay Area?

Union76 on Woodside road between 101 and 280 carries VP100...$4.29/gal at the pump. Many of the muscle car guys go there to fuel up. I was there fueling with a bunch of GTOs, 'Cudas and Mustangs at one time. It was kinda neat to see a TT surrounded by these cars, one doesnt see that too often.

There's also one off of Almaden and Foxworthy... 76 station and it's 4.19 per gallon... Just depends which one is closer

I thought that one on Almaden did away with 100oct pump? Who's 100 is it? When was the last time you went there? If its still there, that's great!

Hmm I think it was about 5-6weeks ago so it looks still legit

It's Unocal's... Not VP Racing.

Won't be going there anytime soon tho... Car's off to get dialed in/tuned....

For those of us not on the Peninsula / South Bay, you can get 100 unleaded at Cycle gear in 5 or 10 gallon drums. It's not as convenient as "at the pump" for suffices when you need a fix.

There one more in the South Valley. Blossom Valley 76, 102 Poughkeepsie at the corner with Cottle (very near IBM/former IBM buildings) - but it's (gulp) $6.10 / gallon.

Do you guys buying the 100 Octane fuell ever mix it with the 91 to save some $$$? Would a 50/50 mixture work?

I mix about 50/50. I usually go about 8 gallons of 100 and 7gals of 91. That should equate to about 95 octane according to a chart I received from a Unocal rep.
