Where does the rear tow hook attach??
#3
Looked there and there is no hole?? I am the third owner so I'm not sure if the rear bumper is stock? It has the plastic bumperettes, so I assume it is stock?? If not is the hole right in the middle of the license plate holder? I might just try punching a hole if that is the location.

Are you planning on using the rear towhook for the track? If so, you may be better off with an aluminum jack point/tow hook (you can see it peeking from under my car). I got it primarily to make lifting the rear easier with a floor jack, but if I decide to track the car I will go ahead and attach the hook attachement.
Also note the location of bumper towhook cover on my bumper.

I've seen that rear jack point/tow hook b/4 but I do not want to spend $265. Can someone show the exact location of the hole in the rear bumper for the tow hook on a 993 TT b/4 I start randomly drilling holes?
Thanks

Look in the middle of the rear bumper. The stock bumper had a hole plug under the license plate. Maybe yours just needs to be drilled out. Should be very easy to find. Also a tip if you get the euro rear bumper the tow hook opening is in the wrong place.

Tim,
I should have clarified between the bumper cover and the aluminum bumper attached to the chassis.
I would get on my back, and pull the rear bumper cover back and look or feel the aluminum "crash bar" beneath the bumper cover. The crash bar should have a threaded place for the tow hook to screw into.
Does that make more sense?
