911/q45: I am always shouting because I put all the mods i could afford into my car this winter and
i cannot drive it. (i had to flatbed it home from the shop due to crappy roads). now spring is almost
here and last week it snowed 6 inches!!!!! I am going crazy not to be able to drive my modded
993 twin turbo. this causes me to shout incessantly at any and all causes...

I understand completely! As a former NoDak I highly recommend you bail out of the great white north and come to the land of 365 day Porsche weather.

Like I posted above, my wife came back from a four day trip to Germany and suddenly she's a 993TT driver. If I had known the water over there would do that to a woman, I would have been flying her over about every six months...

Well, I have just returned from a track day in the 575 [std floaty suspension]
We thought this was also good opportunity to give 'Mrs Q' some track time in the 993TT, so she can settle into it......

Yeah right.
suffice to say, she handed me my *** around this circuit

**UPDATE**

In a strange twist of fate, I have ended up selling the 993TT
I believe I am now officially heartless

On a brighter note, I did the right thing by selling it to a fellow Rennlister [ Jack K ]

Q, what next? I was just thinking...maybe a GT3 if only so you will bring your photography skills over to the GT2/3 board. And make that silver Mk 2 so I can simply "borrow" your pics instead of bothering to clean off brake dust or otherwise wax my car. And just remember to have amber side markers since I have not swapped mine.
BTW, thanks again for the tips on photography in the other thread and good luck with the Ferrari.

LOL
that is why I HAVE to always have more than 1 Porsche in the garage :/

However, that exposes one to the possibility of having one's *** handed to one
by one's wife on the racetrack

Passengers seat is looking like a better option
