Rob, I knew I would be asked both questions. Even the "gurus" ask me about Provence Blue (maybe it is not that common). It is okay, nothing stunning but is extremely nice when matched with Midnight Blue. I have tried several times to take pictures but the pictures do not bring out the colour since I try in my garage (which is well lit up but...). At this time there is snow on the ground outside but I will try once again in the garage and if I succeed in bringing out the colour, I will edit posts to include a couple of pictures. Thanks for the interest.
Edit - Interior (sorry, Provence Blue is hard to photograph in artificial light and currently there is snow outside)

That's a beautiful car, good luck with your sale. I have a very similar interior which is listed as Midnight Blue and Marble Grey. Looks a lot like yours...

jrgordonsenior, thanks for the wish and compliment. Car is now sold. Feb. 26, '05. Indeed, since I read most posts, I remember your original post when you acquired the car and noted the interior as being somewhat similar to mine. Enjoy it.

Congratulation Ran. It is a beautiful car and looks well cared for. What's next for your garage, and did it sell though this forum?

Oops! Just noticed your signature with the GT3 listed....So Ran can you compare the 2 cars for me. I'm dying to drive a GT3....

jrgordonsenior, I don't think I can do adequate justice given the amount of seat time I have in the GT3 as of today. It is now dark and not as much fun to figure out a car on potholed and still clearing (snow a few days back) roads. Now I plan to change that soon (perhaps even sooner if I lived near your area).

All I can say is that you need more than the typical dealer test drive to figure out how great the car really is. I was first on the list and backed out after multiple concerns especially the clearance of driveway factor and justification for additional dollars required for the additional fun over what I got in a TT. In the end, after a few test drives I realised that it was just about worth it to me. Without the dollars in question, it is a sure thing. But for me it was the issue of being worth the extra money and it ended up being worth it. That is why initially even little things like clearance were an issue since all factors add up.

Others who post in the GT3 forum have gone from a 993TT and they should be better placed to give you an update. I can try after some time.
