Marty,
Actually they are painted 996TT wheels. Love the look of those Ruf wheels you have. Steve, anytime you want to assemble the troops I'm ready to go on a run.

JR,
Will you promise its not gonna rain? Can you post where and when? Tony (Air Kuul TT) and all other 805ers should also plan on meeting somewhere and caravaning out to the Malibu meeting spot (unless there's a closer (and perhaps later in the morning) meeting spot. I just can't force myself to read all 20bazillion pages of posts on that Malibu thread. Lazy bones, as Ray Calvo would say.
And yes, we gotta start thinking about another "rumble". I've already contacted Carlo (agent325) our man in S.L.O.

Rumble..Rumble...did I here Rumble???
Should I try to arrange the same caterer again???
By the way I just flew out from SLO today and am picking up my new 97' TT (Smith Volvo in SLO has my 95' on consignment)
Black/Black 65k with the 60k service done
I am driving from NC to SLO leaving on Friday AM and hope to be back by Sunday PM
So if any fellow Rennlisters wanna meet up along the way let me know
I am probably going to take the 40 route and avoid any "weather"
Lets get ready to RUMBLE........

Hey Steve,
Forecast models show only a slight chance for rain Sat. and Sunday like 20%. I think we should all just wait and see. We'll know on Friday if the roads are passable for Sat & Sun....
Tony,
If we go and you want to meet up with Jan and I and probably Eric (EThic), we're both right off the 405 on Sunset, and there's 100 octane just down the street.....

John,
Sounds good, I am glad Jan is coming, Jodi is coming too. Let me know where and when on Sunset and I'll be there. I got some 100 Octane last week in Pasadena.... $5.75/Gal.

My best friend and partner for 25 years retired to Baywood a few years ago. He drives a beautiful 96' blue/grey Cabriolet and occasionally answers to Greg.
He's been a P-car enthusiast for 30 years and has owned many. Stop and say hello if the opportunity arises.
Have a great, safe trip home.....

Oh and when you want the pest parts you go to "FVD" or the "D" for Dayton @ DePartStop. Small Porsche world.
FVD was started before 1985 in Germany when DePartStop and Gulf did not even exist!! FVD USA was not created until 2003!! FVD is not located nextdoor to Gulf anymore either, we have our own shop for all work. We very rarely send work to Gulf anymore, so the "NEXT DOOR" has not been true for about 7 months now . When you call FVD you get 1 of 2 secrataries, speak to 1 of 4 sales people, and send your car to our shop to our tech . Sorry but your theory doesn't work
Anyway, car looks awesome, and I am glad you like the performance!! The above was not a stab at Dayton or Felix, both great guys, just making sure there is no misconception

Come On...
The theory works. You guys almost got involved in my build didnt you? I am sure it would have worked out great. Right? But hey its just a theory.
Should I go thru Felix for parts (FVD)?
Marty
P.S. I am in for the Malibu run if it does not rain.

Bob, you liar!, I know about the 1) roll bar, 2) the GT2 wing and 3) the wheels, so you have more than 1 or 2 mods I changed the wheels too, so now I can say my car is modded too
