Question ECU question.... 993na v. 993tt

Can you take a '97 or '98 normially aspirated ECU and program it for upgrades one might do for a tt? ......basically my cars a '96 and i'd like to upgrade in the future. Is my only option to get '97tt ECU or can a normally aspirated 993 '97 or newer ECU be programmed the same?....... sorry if this seems like a dumb question.

Nossir, these are totally different.

You'll need a later 0.261.204.377 ECU.
