Default Bypass questions

Are you using muffler bypass or cat bypass?

Whose bypass did you buy?

Would you do it again?

I put on Fabspeed muffler bypasses, but found them too loud for street use, and changed to Fabspeed Maxflow mufflers, which is only slightly louder/different tone from stock muffler. But I seem to be in the minority on this, as most people love the muffler bypasses. FWIW, the build quality of the Fabspeeds seems to be top quality, and they make good paperweights!

I recently had the Fabspeed muffler by passes installed. They definitely are rowdy and my neighbors probably curse me on Sunday mornings when I light it up! But they do make a statement and they actually quiet down when you are driving. It is kind of counter-intuitive, but the faster you go, the quieter it gets. At 3000 rpm, you hardly notice the difference from stock!

My preferred setup is FVD kitty bypass and TechFX mufflers. It does not drone and sounds good; slightly nicer than a car with muffler bypasses. If I'm feeling masochistic, I pop on my fabspeed muffer bypasses as well. (Cat bypass + muffler bypass = skull imploding drone at 3000 rpm.)
The downside to my preferred setup is the expense of the FVD cat bypss unit.
