Default 993TTs are so wonderful...

...they repair themselves?!

A few months ago I posted about a leak my '97 picked up. My mechanic took a look and decided on the valve cover gasket. Since the leak was fairly small, consisting of a handful of drips after each run, I decided to postpone the fix until convenient.

A few weekends ago, I replaced the small piece of cardboard I had under it to catch the drips. Lo and behold, it's been dry since.

Schwing! Makes getting budget from The Boss for new tires easier.

Just had a bathroom plumbing leak (quart/hour) fix itself.

Cue the Twilight Zone Theme. (-%

I have another reason why they are so wonderful. 5th gear stomp on the gas, turbo's in full song, modified Camaro chasing and getting smaller in the rear view

Mike,

Forget the aux oil cooler and go for more hp! Then the camaros of the world will disappear even faster, as will the 'Vettes, Mustangs, Ferrari's...

Hal,

As soon as my finances will allow I will enter the world of high HP that you did last year. Gonna need it to fend off every frickin pony car challenge that comes my way...Btw, its impossible to cruise without someone wanting to challenge. If I could paint the M3 'kills' on my door there wouldn't be any room left for my black paint...

I had spoken with Bob about the aux oil cooler myself when we were doing the turbo mods and he said that I didn't really need it unless I was going to do serious track work, so I have moved that item down on my list.

When it stops raining! If I am going to practice traction control, it will be with someone else's car!

Anyway, I don't even have a car now. It is lost somewhere in the depths of Devek. I heard that Bob was at the track last week, so that explains much!

Besides annual service, Bob is installing short shifter and CF strut brace!
