I have a beginning model year 97 tt. Unfortunately it came with a 96 ECU (motronic: 0261 203 758). Does anyone know of a used programable 97 ECU with no. ending in 377 ? If not how about a dealer with reasonable prices? Thanks.

There are quite a few guys that need '97's.. A new one is around $1,650.00 There usually is one on Ebay once a month. They have sold for a low of 550 to a high of 1250.00

 

Your other option is to talk to Todd Knighton at Protomotive who can program your '96 ECU if my understanding is correct.

 

I paid about $900 for my 97 ecu from fellow rennlister.

 

Call Todd at Protomotive. You won't be dissapointed.
