At any speed over 40mph the air supplied by the fan is inconsequential compared to the air flow generated by the car's movement.

I have kept the stock coolers and installed two coolers in series. Made a huge difference in my car and has not effected A/C performance as best as I can tell.

Well if somone heads it asap I might be willing to get in and cancel my order assuming there is enough time for me for me to do so without "sticking it to weisach", which is not my intent. Anyone have a good contact there to do so other than Bob unless he wants to get one, but I am sure he is ok in that department?

The Holidays are over. Has anyone heard from the RUF folks regarding this oil cooler?

I have one on order and just emailed my contact there about a group buy discount and eta on the oil coolers. Up to now I haven't chimed in on this thread because Rufautocentre is not a Rennlist sponsor and Weissach is and I was uncertain of the rules pertaining to this matter.

i will also call Ruf in texas and ask. Can someone ask Weissach if they care about a group order? all things being equal, id rather use a rennlist sponsor.

We need to coordinate this otherwise, it will just 'fall thru the cracks' and we will have overheating TTs this summer.

Don't bother calling. They just got back to me. Ruf Germany is closed until Monday and Rufautocentre has no answers at this point.

I will let you guys know what the deal is if I get a free chance to do so

OK - this is where we are at: Hans at Rufautocentre said he will look into favorable pricing on Monday and get back to me.

In the mean time, I have asked Viken for a decision on how far this group buy can go on this forum since Rufautocentre is not a sponsor and I am feeling a bit uncomfortable about whether it is ok to pursue this on Rennlist.

If you want to know the price I was quoted, PM or email me. I'd rather not discuss it here until I have the ok from the powers that be.

Sean - you might want to ask Weissach. I did several months ago and there seemed to be no room for negotiation. Of course, now he has competition. On the other hand, I'm not sure I would cancel my order with Rufautocentre because of a few bucks.

Ok you guys persuaded me. I just got off the phone with Andrew at Weisach. He expressed an interest in doing the group buy. He said that he would be competitive with Ruf in texas' prices and since he does more volume should be able to best it especially through a group buy. There are two aspects which should be known. First he said that there is an availability issue, i.e. he will honor a group price but there might be only say 3 units so that the first three people on the group buy would get them first and the next people would have to wait for their availability, which seems fair and the like. He will get back to me when Ruf opens to see what he can do. However I will need to know how many people other than myself are definitely in for sure. Please respond to my yahoo email and that way I will know who is in and in at what order.
Sean
