Default Need 97 ECU

I have a early 97 tt. Unfortunately it came with a 96 ECU (no. 758). Does anyone know where I can get a new or used Motronic ECU with model number ending in 377 ?

Ok guys I have been compliling the emails to the users so that I can sent out the forms to you and you can fax or email them to Andrew. Stedge, I don't have your email. As I am writing this I haven't checking your user cp or whatever if it's listed there I will send it there, if not please email me it so I can email you the forms to the correct address.

I also recieved another email from Andrew regarding that amex issue:

The amount is not shown separately, for example if the bank exchange rate today is 1.20 (for argument ) and you make a purchase in Canada with a U.S. card for $ 120.00 CAD ..you should be billed on your statement $ 100.00 USD ( as Amex converts the amount into the cardholders currency ) when Amex shows the exchange rate on your statement it will show 1.15 as the exchange,, billing the cardholder $ 104.35 USD this fee is to covers Amex costs of the monetary conversion.

Most people do not check the bank exchange rate of the day when they make a purchase outside their country, so the fact that they don't notice it is not surprising.

This can be avoided with using Visa / Mastercard

Weissach has no control over this.

Please let me know if I may answer any questions

Hey guys I am going to do the priority based on whom committed first, but if a majority wishes me to change it to those who complete all paperwork with Andrew first I can be persuaded although I don't really think it's entirely fair, again here is my latest list of priority :

1. Me
2. Robert Spatz
3. John Sun ****
4. Eric drewitz
5. Doug Driver
6. Denny Hall
7. Mike Han
8. mdd
9. Stedge
10. OttawaTT
11. VRUS
12. Remi Eriksen

I don't think the priority will matter much. I sent my form to Andrew this morning and followed up with a phone call. He thought that all units would come to him in the same shipment. Except for you CA guys, it's pretty cold in most parts of the country (down to 17F tonight at my house). I just want mine before summer gets here.

I just got off the phone with Andrew as well and he said that Ruf is about two weeks away from getting the cooler parts and another two weeks until they are shipped to Weissach. So we're looking at about a month until we see something delivered to us. Btw, Weissach will not deliver to an address other than the credit card billing address which is too bad. I like to receive my shipments at my place of work instead of worrying whether my delivery has been stolen off my front porch.

I got the payment form yesterday but havent had a chance to submit it yet. Been working off-site and haven't gotten around to it.

I was worried about the same thing.. I didnt want to go through the whole process and then find out weeks later that the price wasnt going to be kept.

I will most likely send it in by tomorrow morning.

I have sent my order into Andrew assuming all that said they were in are in. I specified the 10x price on the credit card authorization form and spoke to Andrew about the order time and it seems like he's fully expecting at least 10 units to come in from Ruf. Please get your orders in so we can get this underway. Thanks!

I faxed my form yesterday. Just write the $895 amount on the form. If the price changes for whatever reason, you can re-evaluate the purchase at that time.

For those who have completed the forms Good Job!
We have 5 forms completed including myself.
I know filling out the form is somewhat of a pain esp. since you might have to copy your CC and DL etc. But please have it done ASAP. Thanks Sean
