Default *** Adiabatic Engine Technology ***

As many of you here have seen in my past posts when I spoke of a friend/tuner that I know who had built an 858RWHP 993TT, I mentioned that he had developed an Adiabatic engine. I posted the patent documents back then (which can still be read by doing searches through the archives).

His company is setup and will be based out of Florida (He still maintains his shop in Scarborough, Ontario).

I thought I would follow up with some press he received in Jacksonville:

http://www.bizjournals.com/jacksonvi...12/story7.html

I know many of you were skeptical about the power claims, but, if any of you have seen his car (my old Guards Red 993) on the race track, you could attest to its power.

Keep an eye out for him and his company. He has rewritten the Physics books with respect to Thermodynamics and will be a name you will all hear more and more as the days progress.

Can't wait to have an Adiabatic engine in my 993TT...

That was an interesting read. I sure hope this works out for him.

And as for the skater's car; 800 hp! Man that thing must scoot.

Fascinating stuff, I hope he succeeds too. Sure would be nice to have greater fuel efficiency and more power, maybe high performance sports cars will still be around in the late 21st century after all.

Here's a link to an article about Stojko's car ...

John
I think there's a typo in that article, 0-140kph (thats 87mph) in 10 seconds is slower than stock.

I'm very impressed. How can I get more information? I think 800 HP sounds just about right. drool, drool.

ca993twin,

Do you mean more info on getting a motor built? If so, I can make an introduction for you and then pass along his contact info.

He is currently still in Jacksonville. I spoke with him yesterday and he will be back in town next week. His brother (Paul) is currently looking after the shop while he is away.

If you do end up letting him build you a motor, you will not be dissapointed.

Hmm.. Forgot to mention, he is into tuning Audis and Mercedes as well.

He has a 640hp kit for the E55 AMG Mercedes.. I am not sure what the power levels are on his Audi products.
