Default New member just introducing myself...

Hello,

Just wanted to drop a hello to everyone. Been Lurking for a bit now and thought it was time to drop a line. Currently I'm in the process of looking for a 993 TT (seems like many are) and I've gathered a bit of good information from this forum. Have been a long time member of the roadfly.org BMW board and was directed here as another good resource. Anyways, I look forward to sharing information with you guys in the future (read picking your brains: ) and talkin cars. Thanks,

Justin

Welcome,
Hope you find a nice TT, it's quite a different experience compared to a BMW.

Thanks...yea just looking for something as a daily driver so I can keep my 96 M3 in the garage as my "fun car". Only thing I'm worried about is if the TT will stack up to the M-power??

ok [/end sarcasm]

Is it too early in the game to be sarcastic? : ) I am looking forward to the experience, cant wait. Thanks for warm welcome,

Justin

Welcome to the board of the of true ultimate driving machine

You know, I get picked on by just about every E46 M3 I come across. Occasionally, I drive next to one that knows better and just cruises. More often than not, they all like to blow past me after I have passed them and slowed down. When that happens, I keep telling myself, 'no mas', as this 100 octane is quite expensive...

Justin,
Good luck. Cars are out there but be patient. A PPI is a must. If you can find one at a dealer with a Porsche warranty, it might be worth a few extra bucks....it was for me.
Tony

When said car is aquired, pix are a must

Welcome and good luck on the hunt. If can take a while, so be patient and find the one you want. A '96 M3.... I hope you can live with 2-3x the HP with the TT. And yes 2-3x is pretty easy to achieve.... And it is really FUN....

ROFL...thanks guys...and yea, thats the plan: )

...RE the E46M3...that was originally what was on my agenda...I think I'll be glad I got a new game plan.

...Will definatly be pushing for a ppi...got to be crazy to spend this kinda money on a car without one...
