i also think that in the 80's and early 90's there were ALOT more koool and wierd factory colors than todays silvers white and plain black

Yep, mine was a special order. The buyer gave Porsche a colour sample for the yellow leather and interior. Though the paint work is standard speed yellow. With all the extra bits and pieces the car cost around 122, 000 pounds sterling in 1996.

May i ask about the yellow consol switch plates? (plates for the 2 rows of 3 switches) Are they leather or are they just painted yellow?

And I thought my car was bright! Anyway, I miss the stories that 911&Porsche World used to publish on special wish cars-I remember some really wild examples. They haven't run a story like that in years.

The console is leather, as are the bezels around the dials on the dashboard.

What is not easy to tell from picture is that the dash face is carbon fibre, so contrasts with the bright yellow well. The carbon dash has 'exclusive' printed on it, does anyone know anything about this? Was it the name of the special options scheme back then?
