Default location of intake air sensor?

I've been playing around with the OBD-2 software I have and found that it's reporting the Itake Air Temperature (IAT) as 124 degrees F. This is when started from cold and idling. Ambient is about 65 degrees F. At one point it reported an IAT of -40 degrees F. Neither seems very plausible.

Can anyone point me to where teh sensor is located? Is it a common failure item?

I have grabbed on of my intercoolers for you to snag this picture. The sensor is located to the rear of the cooler, on the right side of the neck that enters the throttle-body.

It fits in the hole... I have not seen any failures unless your intercooler is filled with oil from a leaking turbo, or faulty filter..

Thanks Kevin; I'll have a look at it.
