Those two positions are non inconsistent. Porsche and other mfgs change suppliers all the time without changing part nos

Many cars are manufactured the year or months before their labeled year, so the ones that are listed as 95 are those that were registered in 95 in their country of purchase. In the US many cars sell the year before their actual labeled year. Could that be the confusion?

Exactly but the piston rings in early model are not so good...

Yes there is an M2.10 wiring page in the turbo shop wire diagrams, look closely at it

It shows 12 plugs - not the 6 on a 993t
it shows a resonance flap -not used on a 993t
it shows a vram control -not used on a 993t
it shows a single O sensor - not the 4 used on a 993t
it shows twin ignition coils -not used on a 993t

it doesn't include a charge regulator

etc, etc

in short it is a n/a 993 wiring diagram, why it's included in the turbo specific manuals I haven't a clue

I can believe that there may have been 14 turbos labeled as MY 95 similar to the '94 993 n/a's that were relabeled as MY95 or were preproduction specials for elite Saudi customers

but all the documentation indicates that all others were M5.2
