Default not sure where to post anymore

i had a 993 C4S and sold it, and now have a 993 TT. when i have a general 993 related post, should it be to the 993 or 993 TT forum? it looks as if the 993 forum has many more hits than the turbo forum. do most of the turbo guys go to the NA forum also? dont want the turbo guys to think i dont like the turbo forum by posting some on the 993 site, but also dont think it is right to always post both forums.

how do others handle this

for instance i just got some great carbon fiber parts from a tip on the 993 forum a few months ago and wanted to share the information so i posted on the 993 side. but want to let the turbo guys know about the great products also

If it's a general 993 question I post it at 993NA. If it's a specific Turbo question I post it here.

thanks, glad to see that this is an open minded group. i will post on NA board as needed.

as an update, i have 121 hrs in my 96 993 TT paint detail project as of tonight and hope to bring it home to finish it tomorrow

color sanding is done , cut buff and polish is done, new carbon interior parts installed, phone console altered to hold new guages, turbo S tail, front spoiler and fog/air ducts painted and installed. Suspension set up, Ruff 19's on, rotors sandblasted and cleared, oval tips shortened, silver hood badge, and clear turn signals installed.

need to go over car to fix a few missed areas and then try out my new Zaino system.

will then bring it home to install my boost guages in console , install factory short shift (w/o a hammer), and work on a few small mechanical issues.

then possibly photo time and a drive

Wow, you tease! I'm drooling here. That will be one fine black tt.

BTW, I'm going to be installing the turbo s tail as well.

Why are you shortening the oval tips?

the factory SS oval tips stick out to far for my likes, this is the second car i have done this to. also i even them out a the same time like take 1/8 in out of one and 1/4 out of the other on thetip pipe, not the polished SS part)

Why not just get the fabspeed muffler bypasses, doc?. I did 'em for the sound but I noticed that they don't stick out as far as the stock wide ovals.

Well, I may have spent too much time on the Turbo forum. I called Dave Maynard of European Locators and asked him to move my Cab and find a nice TT. I love my little Cab but she can not scratch my TT itch. I wish I had the means and garage space for both.

Dave
