Default Clutch for Modified Street Cars

My '97TT has the FVD 490 kit (K16-24 turbos, FVD modified DME) and their upgraded cams that retain hydraulic lifters, and a Sachs performance clutch. Car has dual mass flywheel.
It goes like gangbusters but I don't like the clutch because of the short engagement window and want to replace it. FVD offers an upgraded clutch kit which has a disc with torsion springs,
which they rate at 442 ft-lbs torque, their next level is rated at 553 ft-lbs and has a rigid disc. I want to use their clutch with the sprung disc to give me a larger release window, recalling that
some 993 Turbos were modded with RUF 490 kits without dropping the engine which means the stock Porsche clutch was retained.
Are there any Rennlisters who are running K16-24turbos with a stock clutch who could comment on how well their clutches are handling the increased torque? Or comments about retaining
my dual mass flywheel and the availability of a clutch with a sprung disc that will hold 500-515 lb-ft torque. Thanks!
