Question Bosch Big Filter OK?

An ex- 993 owner passed a Bosch 72116WS big filter along. Do you think would it be OK for a 993 Turbo?

^^ Becoming harder and harder to avoid. There is another thread talking about the recent apparent (from recent dealer stock purchases) change in filter producing form Europe to Asia / China.

Trying to recall, is the tank (big filter) or the engine (small filter) the one that can lead to oil draining into turbos? I am thinking it was the small filter that was crucial for that.

Yes, small filter is the critical one. I think any big filter that fits is probably OK but I'm only guessing. When my next oil change comes up in Nov. 2024, I'll post my mechanics thoughts.
