Default wheel horspower

The 3.6L Twin Turbos have a 405HP rating from the factory. Just out of curiosity, does anybody know what the HP rating is at the rear wheels is?

Thanks in advance.

933tt US/CAN/ROW are rated at 408hp, 97/98 Turbo S are rated at 435/450 depending on engine package and the street 993 GT2 are rated at 450hp.

Can't answer at the wheels HP, I think the 993tt needs a AWD dyno that are not common but are available. Unfortunately the US Turbo S was rated at 408hp like the standard turbo.

Keep in mind all 993tt engine worldwide are the same mechanically, only the ECU and turbo's are different for the higher hp 993 models.

Given 22+ years on, no two 993TT will be the same since factory new. Given the reverse "back of the envelope" thinking on 993 drive train loss % (lots of rennlist threads on that topic) for wheel Dyno to engine HP calc, would expect 15-18+% loss at the wheels 2WD and as @C4Spolar points out, have to then add in the front drive drivetrain loss too on the Turbo (unless removed). Thinking is 22-25% in total loss.

I believe all US 993tts got 430PS/424hp. ROW 993tts got 450PS/444hp, Only the final year 1998 street GT2 got the 450PS set up. The earlier street GT2 got 430PS.
