No one has technically got the answer yet... Remember, they are 1-4, they are 2 K16's and 2 K24's...

Well, the answer to the quiz is:

1st shaft = K24 Viperbob

2nd shaft = K24 PorschePHD

3rd shaft = K16 993TT smoker (sealing ring got stacked)

4th shaft = K16 996TT 2500 miles smoker

If you look closely the K24 turbine wheels are larger.. by 2mm

Interesting. Why are the K24 shafts so much darker?

Bummer. That will teach me to install a used turbo.... I of course could not have done any damage to the turbine wheel.....

Thanks for the quiz Kevin. It is fun to see these things side by side....

Hatchy, it is all heat... The shafts turn blue and oil gets coked on. Anir, I wanted the seperation for the shafts. But in all fairness John nailed it.. His pictures are for next month (smile)..

Yippee!! Kevin, does that mean my turbo conversion is free of charge? What do my turbos look like?

In all honesty, I thought the top two wheels were slightly bigger than the bottom two, and then I guessed at the order after that. I'd rather have put such luck to use on a Powerball ticket.
