Default leaking gaskets

My c9TTar has timing chain gasket and valve cover gasket leaks. Gonna take the time to replace those. Done timing chain gaskets on a 964 so nothing new there except I've been led to believe that you have to take the rear bumper cover off the 993 in order to get a the timing chains. Valve cover gaskets are also leaking. I changed them on a NA 98 C2S and had to remove the exhaust manifolds to accomplish the fix.

Now for the question....in order to change the valve cover gaskets on the TT the exhaust manifolds have to be removed. This if the first turbo I've owned and the question is what do I need to be aware of when taking the turbo exhaust off other than beware of breaking a stud. Anything I should be looking for or to do on the turbo exhaust system when i have it out.?

Any input from those that have tackled these jobs before on a turbo would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Spend some quality time with a dremel/rotary tool. The stock headers can be improved with some work, knock down the welds and the the excess metal. Before:
