Default Has anyone installed the BUMP STEER CONVERSION KIT?

bump Steer Conversion Package For P93
P93 Bump Steer Kit w/ EVO Uprights Full kit with new and oem parts
containing the P93 GT2 EVO Uprights for left and right front, two new wheel
bearings and the special Motorsport tie-rods for left and right.
Everything needed to eliminate the bump steer inherent in P93's.

DO ANY OF YOU GUYS HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS? IS IT WORTH IT?

Alain

It eliminates (or drastically reduces) the inherent bump steer the 993 has in its front end geometry, which is amplified at low(er) ride heights.

Mark Hergesheimer and I have talked at length about this. He has installed many of these EVO uprights with very noticeable, and improved results.

Bump steering == steering caused by bumps or imperfections in the road.

no, that is not me. You are probably thinking of my good friend Luigi that owns CAMPO DI FIORI in Vail and in Aspen

Does anyone know what the cost of these parts are here in the U.S.
Gert is selling them for approx $1,600

Yes, but you don't really need it unless your car is lowered substantially. What suspension do you have, and what ride height is your car at?

OK, that's pretty close. Do you feel the bump steer? If you do, and it bothers you, go ahead with the kit. It really works.

Are the RS uprights and the GT2 the same part??? Those are RS Tie rods, and they look exactly like the RS uprights.

While polishing the alignment on my 993 recently (thanks Mark, Laura and Jim) we had the front toe set at about 5min of toe-in at ROW ride height. We compressed the front end about 1/2" or so and saw a HUGE moment of bump-steer, even at ROW ride height. Front toe'd out about .4deg!

I do want to install the evo uprights some day to help this. Many say it really is a upgrade that is felt while driving. This is magnified at lower ride heights..
