Default TT values

Just back from Barrett-Jackson auction held in PHX last week. They had a 96 TT, Polar Silver with 33K miles. It was fairly well equipped, but not over the top, from what I could see on the car. I couldn't see the options sticker. It's a very nice example of a 993 TT. Here's the B-J link. Unless you have an account, you may not be able to see the final selling price.

The car went across the block on Saturday evening....prime time for the auction. The hammer price was $155,000. With a 10% buyer's premium, the final price was $170,500. It seems the values are going up. On that day, the car was worth $170,500 to the guy who bought it. Can we all get that kind of money for our cars? Probably not, but it's an indication that the values are going up.

As usual, it's just my opinion, and I could be wrong. Also, YMMV.

yeah, but $155,000 hammer means about $140,000 net to the seller - $1500 entry fee - shipping
