Cool Thanks To ViperBob & Rest of CA Crew

Bob, CP, Old Guy, Scott, Steve and the rest of the CA Crew,

Thanks for making my CA trip so enjoyable. Great cars & great people.

Only bad thing about the trip is that, now, my C4 seems so slow! perhaps I've been turbo tainted?

I'll be in touch as I make my relocation plans.

Jim

Jim,

It was good to meet you and show you a few of the canyon roads. Keep us posted on where you are going to settle. If you hurry, you can make the 3/21 Malibu -> Santa Barbara run!!!!

Hi Jim,

Glad to hear from you. I know you still have a few months to make up your mind, but any early favorites as to which region of the country you're considering now?

I still remember your original post regarding the tt. You made up your mind on that one real quick (0-60 MPH in 3.7 seconds kind of quick), I see.

Hope to see you soon.

Hi Jim,

I got your PM, sorry that we couldn't hook up that weekend at Sears Point. There were three 996TT's, two 996 GT3's, one 996 C2, two 996C4s, and two 993C4s. It was a BMW school invaded by the P-cars.

You woulda had so much fun getting rides from the instructor who owns one of the two GT3's at the track. That car in his hands were just ludicrously fast. And if you know Sears Point, you know how unnerving it can be for anyone who's not been there, blind downhill turns everywhere, tirewalls everywhere, concrete barrieres everywhere, and apex right at the concrete barrier for turn 1.

Speaking of runs, you guys should look into the Death Valley. I was there a few weekends ago with other Turbo's, and some of the things transpired there were:

180+ mph runs

Multiple airborne excursions

80mph airborne launch

Amazing drive
