If I knew then what I knew now I would jump
at Johns car in a heart beat. Its 3K less than what
I paid for mine and it has all the hop ups you will have to
pay about 10-20K for to get it where his is.
If you live in Ca ViperBob can maintain it and
it will stay in the shape John has kept it in.
Yes If I knew then what I know now!!

Careener,
I have seen it and it is butt ugly. Give me the sellers phone number in a private e mail and buy John's car. I will give you a finders fee to put towards Johns car. Seriously such a decision is purely subjective. There is no right or wrong answer. But if you don't take the car I will give you a finders fee. Does the car still have the original window sticker?

YAHOO, as we say in Texas. I went with the Arctic Silver car and picked it up today. It passed a rigorous inspection with flying colors and it purred (and occasionally screamed) on the 170 mile drive back to my home. I went with that car because of the great looking silver color, excellent condition, fairly-low mileage, and the car was close to home (car was in Austin and I live in Houston).
I gathered more information on John's car in the process and it seems like a fine car to own. I wasn't up for travelling to the NE for a look and, as a novice, I preferred a stock car. However, someone should move fast on that one. I could tell that he is a fine gentleman and a responsible and knowledgeable owner.
Thanks to all for your help and comments!
