Default Ruf Wheels Question

How hard it is to find original Ruf wheels 8.5x19 and 11x19 like the ones in this photo? I currently have a set and am debating on keeping them or selling them depending on how hard a new set would be to find in the future (could be a couple years). I had them on my 4S, sold that car, and was planning on putting them on a future 993 Turbo, but that is looking like it could years from now. Question: Do I sell them now and find another set when and if I get a 993 Turbo or do I hold them because they are hard to find? I'm not trying to sell them, just want some advice.

Car was sold, but I kept the wheels.
Thanks!

RUF makes a newer forged version of the 993 wheels, so you might just sell them..

The rears are 10x19 not 11x19 though.

I have both RUF 18s and 19s and I much prefer the ride quality of the 18s.

Totally agree on the 18s vs 19s; better ride, handling, braking, everything. Although I like the look of the 19s better.

I bought a set of the original 19's about 9 months ago. I took me about 6 months to find them and I ended up paying more than most people plus having to get them refinished. It seemed to me the prices were going up on these. Every time I saw a set go on sale they were gone. I looked into the new ones but the look is slightly different.

To OP,

If you don't want to deal with knock-offs & structure questionable wheel when buying used rims later I suggest you to keep them. Seems like anything NLA these days brings a premium regardless if they are better or not. The priceless factor here is you have a set of genuine wheel that you know the history. So if money & space are no issue I would def keep them.

Arling, I tried last night but could not get it to work. Thanks for all the work you did on my car. It runs great.

The new forged wheels look great, but v expensive. Does anyone have a pic of them on a 993tt?
Was also looking at the RS184 but they are a bit wide at the back

If helpful, I tried for a long time to make sure the RS184 would fit before buying a set and could not come up with a definitive view (without rolling fenders). The rear offsets are aggressive for 993 (but work on 996).

What are people running for tires on 19s? On 11'+ rears, I've read that 315/25-19 is the right size but Michelin stopped the PS2 in this size and I'm hesitant to get boxed into the Toyo T1R (the only tire in this size on tirerack). The fronts (225 or 235 width are plentiful).

I am curious about this as well. Can you run the 285's on the 11" wheel? No one carries the 315 where live. Can get 295 and 285
