i am looking at this car. any idea as to worth? does the warranty add any value or just comfort? is a ppi still necessary? you comments are appreciated.

A 30k mile 97 turbo should be in the range of high 60's to around 70 depending upon condition. Warranty is good to have, BUT YOU STILL MUST HAVE A PPI!

That price is not revolting, hopefully the dealer has some room
in there to play. I was told (second hand here) WHolesale
would be mid 50's to mid 60's so you should be able to get him to
move and as Hal stated a PPI is a must and not from
that dealer.

I have seen and driven that car...very clean...they have had it for close to 6 months...there has been some pressure to wholesale it...I think if you like the color combo you would have some room for movement on the price

only1buck, glad to hear you have seen the car. we have been talking about price for a couple of weeks. any info about the car or the selling dealer woud be appreciated. any information on the po? any one you trust to do ppi? your impression of car? thanks

When I was last at the dealer roughly 2 weeks ago it was still in the showroom...it is very clean...no dings nothing...no apparent body work of any kind ...appears to be bone stock...I do not know anything about the PO, but also did not ask...I know the sales people at the dealership well...I followed them to Miller from Jack Daniels...I had bought Porsches over the years from them...if you would like me to go to the dealership or anything let me know...

On the ppi side I am not familiar with anyone in this area...but search the archives because I believe I had posted the same question when I was considering a used car/previously obsessed over pcar
