What are the largest (widest) size tires you have fit on 18" rims on your wide body 993? ...lowered with no rubbing?
Thanks

There are lots of factors involved here: alignment specs, wheel offsets, spring diameters, and the brand of tire (tires of same size "spec" are often not even close to the same actual size). That said, I've seen wide bodies with 265s on the front and 315s on the rear.

David,
I run 245/35-18's on the front on 8.5" wide Fikse FM-10's - street and track. No rubbing with my old stock suspension or the new PSS-9's (-1.6 camber, almost RS ride height). Steve is right about being able to fit 265's (and even 275's), but I do believe this may require a bit more negative camber, as well as fender rolling.
I believe Greg Fishman used to run 265's or 275's front on his track car, but switched back to 245's because they actually worked better for him.
My rears are stock 285/30-18's on 10.5" rims.

Here is Phil's "completely stock" C4S at Streets of Willow. It goes so fast, it sucked his helmet clean off. Seems to get around corners pretty well...
