Default Would you replace TT badge with ...

Would you replace the "Turbo" badge on the rear spoiler of your real 993TT with, say, perhaps "Carrera4S" or "Carrera S" ? Or simply omit the badge altogether? My intention is to conceal the true power behind the car on unexpected drivers.

I dont think I would elminate the badge altogether.
However i was in my Dealers showroom not too long
ago and I saw the 40th anniversary one and the plain
911 badge was stunning. Iliked it. even better than carrera.

I think the turbo badge looks great. Wear it proud! If you want to conceal your true power, don't add any exterior mods and increase your horsepower to 600+ , then all people will think its just a "plain" turbo.

I ordered my tt with the delete badge option, as I thought the whole car was so outrageous that the badge put it over the top. The salesmen at the dealership were angry that I did that, but I still like it 9 years later.

Sorry about the missing words in my post, looks like my brain and fingers got out of synch once again.

When I bought my car, it had no badge at all. I like the stealth approach myself. I badged my car with the original Carrera C4S badge. It is what the car is. Never mid that it has a Protomotive Stage 2 twin turbo under the wing.

However, if you have a real turbo, I would leave the badge alone. It is what came on the car. I would think up something creative for the license plate or plate frame.

I'm not sure I can elaborate. I ordered the car with the delete badge option, they were angry about it and they were car salesmen. Perhaps the final fact is the explanation.

My Black TT is without the "turbo" badge. I like it this stealthy look also. Just my 2 cents.

I love this post because of all the differnces of opinion. I waited and looked so long till I got a TT. I love what it is so I wouldn't mind if the turbo logo was twice it's size! Mike W
