Default Testing 4wd & ABD

Hi Guys,

I was just donwstairs (my offices are above a car service garage!) and put my car on the four post ramp and checked the opperation of the 4wd & ABD by doing the following:

Had the car apx 8 inches off the ground, idling in first gear
All four wheels spinning merrily
I then applied pressure via my foot to one rear wheel. Result ABD light comes on and traction is re-applied to that wheel.

ABD does not appear to brake individual front wheels when one of those is stopped

I can now sleep tonight knowing that all wheels are pulling in the same direction!

LOL I thought I was the only one silly enough to do that! Glad to hear another kindred spirit is out there.
