Default Option code 429 "Sebring"

Can someone tell me if option code 429 special model "Sebring" was a limited option? I'm looking to make an offer on a 97 turbo and I never heard of this option before. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

If I recall correctly, it was a USA only special edition 924 with some fancy stripes. I don't remember what year, but I think it was to commemorate a win at Sebring or something like that.

I'm with Viken and remember the Sebring package for a Porsche 924. Those three character option codes are sometimes hard to read. Maybe the seller listed it wrong. Also remember that the codes are often model year specific (example: 429 = fog headlamp, white 429 = special model "sebring").

I think you are right on the 429 option code. I think it only applies to the fog headlamp for the 993. I haven't seen this vehicle so I called Porsche to get the list of options based on the VIN number.

This vehicle is up for auction and I wanted to see which packages were included.

Thanks for the info.
