Been searching for a 96 or 97 993 turbo. Found one that said private seller, but he ended up having a dealer's license, so that doesn't work. I live in AZ, so no sales tax if I buy from a private seller, so that is my preference. Anyway, looking for a nice original copy with less than 60k miles (prefer 20-40k). Want sport seats and no wood paneling inside. Like most colors (don't prefer black, but would take it if it was the best option). Any ideas out there? One of the hardest things is trying to figure out what these things really sell for. Prices for very similar cars range from $125-225k. Are these guys asking $175-225 really going to get those prices? Or are they waiting for the idiot?

cool. What did you find - color combo, options, mileage?
Intercity's bid was $1795 from Dallas to Phoenix. Does that seem about right? Haven't contacted Reliable yet. Definitely going enclosed. Car is Red/Black interior. I found it first advertised on Hemmings.
Maybe consider flying to Dallas and road tripping it home!
If it was a 300-500 mile drive on nice windy roads with pretty scenery, that would be a nice idea. But have you seen I-10 between Dallas and Phoenix?! No thanks. Much easier to fly. I'll probably regret it later though when it takes a month to get a shipper there. Reliable's bid was $1356.
Well, looks like I'm an owner! Wired the cash this morning. Then called Innercity to pick it up and they had a truck in Dallas and they are picking it up today! Definitely excited. This is the one I bought. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds...3/2118054.html
Congrats! Mine will be for sale shortly too.. probably closer to the 130k mark.... with 50k miles, carbon seats, moton suspension and a few other goodies
