Red on black is a great combo, congrats!

Interesting touch and quite random with the wood trim shift ****.

The wood **** was the only thing on this car I wish was different. Wish it had the aluminum or carbon fiber shifter and brake handle. Other than that, it had everything else (mainly sport buckets, low time and very good pedigree). Maybe those can be changed out? I seen one on Ebay for $3k and for that price, I can be happy with what I have!

Easy to change not so easy to find. But they do come up on RL sporadically - the alum version. CF is like impossible! You could always just get the regular black 993 leather **** or what's popular to upgrade is some 996 versions (Turbo, CF etc).

$3K is def ridiculous, even as a 993 owner sometimes painful to watch all these parts prices just go up.

He was selling the 993 Turbo to get a CGT, so I can understand that! As for the ****, I want one like the one on Ebay which is the carbon fiber one. I would settle for the aluminum **** and brake handle though. Not into the one from Suncoast. I have time, so I'll keep looking slowly. Funny thing is the wood one was an option that the original owner ordered. Shows up on the code sticker under the hood.

Very nice car and I agree wait for an aluminum or carbon shifter. I don't like the one from Suncoast.

Hi everyone,

In case of it could be of some interest, here is a brief preview of my 993 TT XLC 450cv Year 1995 mod 1996.
Many special PORSCHE Equipments, and few others from top specialists as the RUF steeringwheel made
on demand for the car (that are at least as good as Porsche quality)

> Rare RECCARO SPORT seats with electrical options
> NO wood paneling inside, but nice set of colors with alloys insert
> Owned and cherished by an individual for over 18 years
> All the mechanical has 54 000 miles (Fitted By Porsche Center)
The car body has covered a total of 93 000 miles and really looks like 30K

Heavy files with all the car history, maintenance, PORSCHE Certificates, Car expertise, etc..
Might be for sale sell at a reasonnable price, by a real enthusiast owner, not a speculator.

If you have questions or need additional infos, I will glad to answer / share.

Valere

Despite many time spending to read this forum, I am a new registred member, happy to join the 993TT community.
I am clearly an "air cooled enthusiast" for near 40 years. I had the chance to own many 911, from 1971 2.2S, to this last flagship...

Yep, that's the one I seen on Ebay for $3k. He would take a little less, but not much. I'm thinking $2500 is his bottom. On top of that, the leather is grey and mine is black! Anyway, again, I'll just wait for one at a fair price. I would rather put $2500 towards some additional rims/tires or updating the suspension.

Got the car today. Even nicer than I imagined. Yes, I'm the guy who didn't do a PPI. Talked to a RLer who knew the car/seller and gave me a good second opinion about the car being a very clean copy. Car is almost perfect. Took her out for 50 miles of playing today.

Has the driver engaged reverse gear whilst being lift into the truck ? Looks like the reverse lights are on......

Lovely car, by the way. Well done.

I’d be interested in anything with over 70 or 80000 miles but haven’t seen anything out there much over 40000 miles. How does the market view high mileage TT?
