Happiness is...
A new TT sitting in the garage.
Hey Guys,
Just bought this off e-bay - my 97tt
I couldnt stand waiting the 2-3 weeks for delivery due to the Holidays so I flew out and drove it home 1 ticket in TX and 2000 miles later.
I wanted to thank everyone who's looking for one and didn't bid on this one. It's funny, my 79 930 was white/lobster so I knew the color was Ok for me.
These cars really are an absolute joy to drive. I want to hit up some DE events to really get acquainted. I'll be getting rid of the wheels and H&R springs if anyone is interested.
Just thought I'd share the experience so far and welcome myself to the club...

Maybe more happiness will come after a few hundred miles drive to Los Altos Hills and see Viperbob!! Great BBQ I heard! Ask Steve for more details....
I flew 7000 miles to see Bob and came back full of happiness!! (did I mention about the RennTT invoice??)
Congrats on your purchase!! Looks good in white!!

Nice! Where abouts in So Cal are you? Perhaps you could join us on some of our Sunday Morning drives.
I have some stock hollow spoke wheels that I would be willing to do a trade on if that is what you are looking for.

Thanks Guys, thought you would approve.
I'd like to get 2k obo for the wheels, they just arent my style. I like the Kinesis k58r's or some of Vision Motorsports/Kokeln's new wheels.
I live in Orange, if you guys make it down this way for any drives let me know. Looks like I'll need some essential maintenence items first though
More pics on the way...

That is a nice looking TT that you got at a good price.
Beware that you might be asking for a ticket with those dark tinted windows here in The Peoples Republic of Kalifornia.

Ed,
Congratulations, and welcome. Is the interior really "boxster red" as the ebay ad suggests? It looks more like "chestnut brown" in the pics, but maybe they are just overexposed?
I've got an arctic silver / chestnut brown example. I'm a big fan of red interiors in Porsches.
Have fun with your new baby!

What a beautiful car. Fire sale price too!! My first choice in exterior color. I imagine I'll see you at the Saturday (first of each month) Porsche Club breakfast in Tustin one of these days. See your email.

I love that color combo. I'm hoping to seize the day for me too.
