White dials
The 's' has white dials as standard-I want these on my TT.
Has anyone got any links etc or info on how to do this?
Is it possible to do on a standard car?
Has anyone actually had this done?
I think it looks great. If its a DIY job,Is there any risk of damaging the dials or instruments etc.

I think they are aluminum dial faces. and yes you can
have them on your TT. in fact they are on my list of upgrades
I just know how to do it, or how much. there is a place in Hollywood that
does it and I think Palo Alto Ca. too. look in Excellence mag
or panorama. Also you can do the instrument dial bezels
and go as far as al switch cover like the fog light switch
and defroster switch and the power window swtich
and even the lever that lifts the seat forward to get in the
back can be surrounded by an aluminum cover instead of the
black plastic, heck even the power switches on the seat!
can be al. Try this link they have them at paloalto speedo

I have the gauges and aluminum trim pieces in my car. IMHO I think it really sets off the interior without spending a great deal of money. I also have an aluminum pedal set which completes the look. Hey OG when are you getting yours??????? Mike W

Mike I have muffler bypasses on the way. I dont know when the
guages are showing up, since I havent ordered them.
I am way slower than you. You know how to upgrade
correctly! FAST just like the car!

OG, It's obvious your headed down they slippery slope like the rest of us. The muffler bypass is a great start. Remember we started with these cars about the same time so it is fun watching you make changes. We are TT brothers under the skin!

Mike Bro, I am looking forward to following in your
footsteps. Especially the Aluminiimum stuff
I am going to start with the bezels and then I wanna
do the DYI dial faces but I dont know if that works well or not.
did you just buy em or install em?
By the way I am headed outta town in a few hours
if I dont hear from ya have a good weekend.
