EBay 993TT - surprised no one has bid...

That ones run about three times, keeps getting cheaper. Unless there are stories when you dig deeper I guess its just the mileage (60K) and the crummy quality pictures he uses. Never could figure why some one who does this for a living doesn't know how to market a product.

The standards of the sales staff are low when a Porsche with 60,703 miles is described as, "BODY AND INTERIOR ARE FREE OF ANY WEAR OR VISIBLE DEFECTS...."

I'm sure it's not just "Mr. Trol" but all of us who lurk here, waiting, dying to own a TT, and bidding on all the Turbos on Ebay that would say, "yes, please" if you could look at that TT. Take it for a spin, and post info. The 60k miles is a bit much, but if it just had the 60k service (isn't that a MAJOR service) than it should be ok. My 77k mile 968 is something I would buy, miles and all, but I know what kind of shape it's in (garage queen).

Yes indeed I need twin screw,
I've come so close to own a few.
Never found one finish and fit
with my wife I'll finally get.
She gave my thumbs of 2.

I agree if a PPI were to determine it has no stories it looks like it might be a good deal, its looks highly optioned with Silver gauges, Sport Seats,CD and looks like Carbon aluminum shifter & brake handle etc. not bad.

Carfax keeps track of changes in ownership, tracks the registered odometer reports, and can report certain, usually very heavy damage accidents in which there is a police report or a salvage title. It won't show regular, run-of-the-mill accidents where no person is injured, even though the car may suffer serious damage. A clean carfax is better than no carfax, but not a guarantee that there hasn't been previous damage. I would trust a good body shop to give a car a careful inspection. Since they fix 'em, they know what to look for.

Marcus,
There is a Rennlister in Philly on the 993 board. His name is Rezal. You might send him a PM and see if he can take a look at the car.
It does seem like a nice car for the money. Remember, selling a TT in Philly right now is TOUGH. Holidays, they just had 20"s of snow, etc. Peoples attention outside of Texas and CA are not focused on buying new Porsche Turbos for the next few months..... Even if it was listed a couple of times recently, that may not be an indicator of an issue with the car. It could be a good deal. That is how I bought mine in NH last year after Christmas. Went to the seller after their eBay attempt yielded no bids.
Good luck

Bob along that line I relisted mine and added additional picture and details, perhaps the holidays are the issue. Or maybe nobody wants the GT2 look and performance stuff. I figure it will be right for someone who is a track junkie or performance motivated like yourself. Did You pry those wheels away from Phil yet? Happy Holidays!
