help. kinematic alignmemt please
in sg. want to do s full alignment on 993tt. kenematic alignment seem to be an esdential thing for great and safe handling.
problem. the porsche centre do not have the specialist tool for a kinematic alignment.
what to do. search the forum but do not inderstand most technical thing.
what does kinematic alignment do and the effect of bad alignment. how do you know the alignment is out.
is there a way to do it without the specialise tool.

the gauge is not that expensive - see http://fdmotorsports.net/car-care-tools/ you might want to buy it and take it to a good alignment shop to have the work done

I can't tell where you are located using the mobile app. Ask for an indy shop recommendation. They'll have more experience with a proper 993 alignment.

You not only NEED the proper tool, but whoever uses it, needs to understand how it's used, and what it's purpose is. You will never have a correct alignment, without having kinematic toe properly (and evenly) adjusted. Kinematic toe is the effect, or actual amount of toe, induced, as suspension travels up and down. You can have all other alignment parameters set properly, but without the proper KT setting, it will be no good. It can actually be very dangerous, if done improperly, by an unexperienced tech.
